Indigo League
A new Pokémon challenge every day — the same one for every player on earth. One attempt. About five minutes.
Play today's challengeHow a run goes
- Draft. Nine Pokémon are offered. Keep three. They are your whole team, first battle to last.
- Battle. Five trainers, each tougher than the last. Same opponents for everyone.
- Switch. When a trainer sends in a replacement, you are told who it is and may switch for free — the change costs you no turn.
- Boon. Between battles, take one of three: healing for the team, power (a TM or a stat boost), or supplies for your bag.
- Items. Spend bag items in battle or between fights. A Revive is the only way back for a fainted Pokémon, and it returns half its HP.
- Score. Your run ends at the fifth trainer — or the moment your last Pokémon falls.
Scoring
- 120 pts per battle won
- up to 20 pts for how much of the last team you took down before falling
- up to 40 pts for the HP your starters bring into your last battle
- 12 pts per starter still standing as your last battle begins
- up to 24 pts for efficiency — four turns per battle is par
- 100 pts for a flawless run, with no Pokémon lost
- 150 pts for beating the fifth trainer on a League Day
- 50 pts for reaching them on a League Day and falling there
HP and survivors are read as you walk into your last battle, and count for more the further you got.
League ranks
Your score becomes League Points. They accumulate across every run and climb the ladder:
- Boulder Badge — 90 LP
- Cascade Badge — 260 LP
- Thunder Badge — 500 LP
- Rainbow Badge — 800 LP
- Soul Badge — 1150 LP
- Marsh Badge — 1550 LP
- Volcano Badge — 2000 LP
- Earth Badge — 2500 LP
- Indigo Plateau — 3000 LP
At 3000 LP you reach the Indigo Plateau, where the ranking restarts every week: the player with the most points over the week is the League Master, and the top of the table forms the Elite Four. Both are decided again each Monday.
The roster
Every Pokémon in a challenge is drawn from a single band of base stats, drafted and opposing alike — so the choice is about types and coverage, never about who is biggest.
The first generation's 151 species have been in since day one. The second joins on 1 October 2026, from challenge 274 onward, bringing the roster to 251. Battles follow first-generation mechanics throughout.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no advertising and nothing to buy. Signing in with Discord is what lets a score be ranked against other players.
